I admit it – I love Acumatica Summits. From the beginning, they have brought an energy that has only gathered momentum as the years have passed.

Acumatica Summit 2026 marked a meaningful evolution for the Acumatica community — not just in what was announced, but in how it all came together. From a new venue in the heart of downtown Seattle to leadership transitions, product momentum, and powerful community moments, this year’s Summit felt intentional, energized, and forward-looking.

I missed Summit 2025 due to illness, so I was eager to get to this one, even if I was a bit uncertain about Seattle in January. While there were some travel challenges for many, thousands were able to get there.

It was a truly spectacular venue (I did NOT miss the smoky casino and sticky floors of Las Vegas) with beautiful networking spaces, and a bright, shiny expo that you could easily navigate.

“Summit 2026 felt less like a conference — and more like a community in motion.”

A Venue Change That Paid Off

For the first time in its history, Acumatica Summit moved from Las Vegas to Seattle, and the decision proved to be a resounding success. Hosting the event at the Seattle Convention Center’s Summit Building brought a noticeably different tone to the experience.

Natural light, modern architecture, intuitive flow between sessions, and expansive city views created an environment that felt open, collaborative, and energizing. Conversations spilled naturally from breakout rooms to hallways and shared spaces, and the venue itself became part of the experience rather than just a backdrop.

The move to Seattle didn’t just change the scenery — it changed the energy.

Seattle didn’t just accommodate Summit’s growth — it elevated it.

Clear Direction from the Top

In the opening keynote, CEO John Case set the tone with a message grounded in practicality and progress. The emphasis wasn’t on abstract future potential, but on what businesses can do today with the right technology foundation.

Key themes echoed throughout the week:

  • AI as an embedded, practical capability — not a bolt-on or buzzword.
  • A continued focus on reducing complexity and improving decision-making.
  • Moving ERP from a system of record to a system of intelligence.
  • Delivering real, measurable business outcomes rather than theoretical innovation.

The messaging felt confident and consistent, reinforcing Acumatica’s long-standing commitment to usability, flexibility, and customer-driven development.

A Leadership Transition, Handled with Intention

Summit 2026 also marked an important leadership moment: Ali Jani passed the Chief Product Officer role to Jon Pollock.

Rather than feeling like a disruption, the transition was positioned as a continuation — a passing of the baton that underscored both stability and momentum. Product sessions and roadmap discussions reflected this continuity, pairing Acumatica’s established product philosophy with fresh perspective and renewed focus on execution.

And our friend Ali isn’t going anywhere. He will still be there cheering on from the sidelines and supporting this community that he loves so much.

“This wasn’t a reset — it was a confident passing of the baton.”

Product Momentum: From Vision to Execution

Across product-focused sessions, Acumatica continued to articulate a compelling evolution of ERP — one where intelligence is woven directly into workflows.

Highlights included:

  • AI-assisted insights designed to support everyday decision-making.
  • Smarter automation that reduces manual effort without sacrificing control.
  • Continued emphasis on extensibility and ecosystem-driven innovation.
  • A clear strategy for governance, data integrity, and trust as AI capabilities expand.

Rather than overwhelming attendees with speculative futures, the product narrative focused on what’s usable now and how organizations can adopt new capabilities at a practical pace.

Women in Tech: Substance, Not a Sidebar

The Women in Tech Luncheon and follow-up sessions were among the most impactful moments of the week. These weren’t surface-level conversations — they were candid, thoughtful, and grounded in real experience.

Panels featuring leaders from across the Acumatica ecosystem explored topics such as:

  • Navigating leadership and visibility.
  • Career progression and purposeful growth.
  • Mentorship, sponsorship, and community building.
  • Balancing ambition with authenticity.

One amazing nugget of positive information at this lunch? Almost HALF of the room raised their hand when asked if this was their first Acumatica WiT luncheon. How’s that for growth and injection of new blood into this channel?

I was stunned (delightfully so), as was JJ DiGeronimo, the moderator of this powerhouse session.

“Women in Tech at Summit wasn’t about checking a box — it was about sharing the playbook.”

Women in Tech fireside chat
Women in Tech fireside chat

This year marked significant investments in Women in Technology sessions. The fireside chat created space not just for inspiration, but for meaningful connection — reinforcing that leadership growth is strongest when it’s shared.

These are typically my favorite sessions and this year was a fabulous example of what can be done when you commit to the initiative fully, like Acumatica has. While I applaud these efforts loudly and proudly, I would love to see this commitment reach the C-suite at Acumatica, which remains largely male.

I’ll be writing a separate companion piece to this article that focuses just on Acumatica’s Women in Technology efforts – they are worthy of their own write-up! There was so much energy, compassion and love on those stages.

One of the most eye-catching displays — the race car — served as a fitting metaphor: speed, precision, and partnership driving performance. The ecosystem isn’t just growing — it’s accelerating.

Recognizing Excellence: Summit 2026 Awards

Summit is also a time to celebrate the people and organizations pushing the ecosystem forward. This year’s awards recognized customers and partners who demonstrated exceptional impact, innovation, and growth — including honors such as Customer of the Year, Partner of the Year, and ISV of the Year.

These recognitions highlighted not just success, but collaboration — a reminder that Acumatica’s progress is powered by its community. Read the full list of winners.

Acumatica Summit 2026 felt like a milestone — not because of any single announcement, but because of how cohesive the experience was. The venue change, leadership transition, product direction, and community programming all pointed in the same direction.

This is a platform maturing with confidence. This is a community aligned around real outcomes. And this is a future that feels not just possible — but already underway.
